1) Who we are
We are dnb family (“we”, “us”). This policy explains how we process your personal information when you use our website and related features (chats, event calendar, and shop previews). Contact: info@dnbfamily.chat
2) What we collect
We don't require an account to browse. The main data we collect is usage analytics so we can improve the site.
- Analytics events (via Google Analytics 4): page views, tabs opened (calendar / chats / shop), site search terms, clicks on outbound links, basic device info (browser/OS), approximate location (country/city inferred from IP), and timestamps.
- Technical data: IP address (transiently processed by Google to derive general location), user agent, referrer/UTM parameters when present.
- Consent preferences: your cookie choices are stored locally on your device to honor them.
3) Cookies & consent
We use Google Consent Mode v2. By default, all analytics and ads storage is denied. We only use analytics cookies if you choose Accept or enable Analytics in preferences. If you Reject, Google sends cookieless pings (no identifiers) so we can measure basic traffic volume without using storage.
You can change your choice anytime via the "Manage cookies" button above or from the banner in the app.

4) How we use your data
- Analytics & performance - understand which sections are used, fix issues, plan improvements.
- Security - detect abuse/fraud (e.g., rate limiting).
- Support - respond if you contact us.
5) Legal bases (UK/EU)
- Consent (UK GDPR/GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)) for analytics and any ads/personalization signals.
- Legitimate interests / necessary (Art. 6(1)(f) / 6(1)(b)) for essential operations and remembering your cookie preferences.
6) Sharing & international transfers
We use Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited as service provider; Google LLC in the United States as sub‑processor). Data may be processed outside the UK/EU under the EU/UK Standard Contractual Clauses and Google's data protection terms. We do not sell your personal information or share analytics data with other third parties.
7) Retention
We keep analytics data in Google Analytics for up to 14 months (GA4 configurable retention). Aggregated, non‑identifying reports may be kept longer.
8) Your rights
If you are in the UK/EU, you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or port your data, and to withdraw consent or object to processing. You may lodge a complaint with your data protection authority (e.g., the ICO in the UK).
9) Your choices
- Use Manage cookies to enable/disable analytics, ads, and personalization.
- Use your browser's settings to block/clear cookies or tracking scripts.
- Set “Do Not Track” in your browser - we honor this by defaulting analytics to denied.
10) Children
Our site is for a general audience and not directed at children. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us and we'll delete it.
11) Changes
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements. We'll post the new date at the top when we do.
